Does Early Pregnancy Cause Increased Vaginal Discharge??

posted 2nd Aug
My period is due around the 5th of Aug....at least thats my guestimate because I miscarried on July 7th. I ovulated between July 22-24 but now today I am experiencing a lot of thick, odourless discharge......like you would if you were ovulating! My question is.......has anyone experienced this in early pregnancy because I cant remember ever having this during early pregnancy......but they say everyone is different so I am looking for others to share their experiences!
Thanks

I always noticed a discharge 5-7 days before my period. I didn't start noticing an increased discharge in this pregnancy until about a week ago. I didn't have any issues with it in the beginning.

I never experienced any discharge up until 1 week ago or so. But it probably is normal, as long as it doesnt have a bad smell then it might not be anything bad. But you should defenetally talk to your doc about it.

I am dry after my AF and then I ovulate around day 18. I stay like that for about 3 or 4 days and then become dry again. I then stay dry until my period. I never have discharge other than the whole ovulation time. Sigh** seems everything appears to be a symptom when you want something so bad! But seriously though, the dischage is a lot.......you cant ovulate twice in one month can you?

By ovulatory discharge do you mean EWCM, because that is clear and stretchy, not thick. But yes, i have creamy cm throughout most of my cycle. Discharge does also increase during pregnancy. Because it means so many things, it cant really be considered a symptom of pregnancy.Especially since your hormone levels will be adjusting since you m/c. If you know for sure when you ovulated, ie through bbt, then take a HPT at 14dpo.

If you just had a miscarriage, I would bet that the discharge you're having now is ovulation, not pre-AF or pregnant discharge. Miscarriages throw off your cycle and even charting your temps post-miscarriage can be unreliable.

Please don't try to get preggo right after a miscarriage!

I have been googling it and it seems to be accepted as an indication of pregnancy and not a pregnany symptom....whatever that meant....but anyway, lol! It has no stretch to it, thats what I mean, during ovulation it is stretchy and this time it is just mucus like dsicharge. I am pretty sure I ovulated between 22-24 because I checked temps and that and I had a lot of discharge during that time too but it was different discharge, clear and stretchy.

I was only 5 weeks pregnant when I miscarried and my hormone levels were not very high so the doctor thinks I made have had a chemical pregnancy. She said it was ok to try again after I stopped bleeding. They only want you to wait after miscarriage so that they will have a start day to try and figure out when conception occured and get an approximate due datebut with the ultra sound these days you can find that out rather easily.

If you truly were pregnant though, your body just lost a bunch of nutrients that you wouldn't have had time to replace. Obviously it's your personal decision, but I just hate to hear people have recurrent miscarriages because they couldn't wait.

I noticed heavier discharge, I thought it was a yeast infection so I treated it and it didn't go away, then i took a test and found out Iam pregnant.
