Flintstone Vitamins?

I have been taking prenatal vitamins, but lately I can not stomach them. I can not keep them down and even the smell of them makes me gag! YUCK!

So I did some research on Flintstone vitamins... It said as long as it has the correct doses of Folic Acid, Iron, Vitamins, and Calcium (2 times a day) that it is a perfectly fine supplement.

I was just wondering if anyone has taken Flintstones instead??

yes it is ok to take flinestone vitamins i take them and i take 2 vitamins right when i wake up and that is good for the whole day, but make sure you get the ones that have plus iron

i did until recently actually, just take 2 instead of one...same thing , try taking prenatals later on down the road when you feel better, thats what i had to do

I've heard of quite a few people doing that.   whatever works for you.. I take mine (prenatals) right before I go to bed and I found that they dont bother me so much then

They are basically prenatals with a lower dose. Use two, instead of one, and all should be fine ^^...

My doc mentioned that to me when I was first pregnant. I have no problems with the prenatals but apparently for those women that do, Flintstones are a perfectly safe alternative.

Thats what I take...my doctor told me to take two a day...the prenatal vitamins i had were making sick...ewwww~

yes its ok to take them. thats the only thing icould keep down. the prenatal ones made me to sick. you need to take 2-4 a day

That same crap happened to me...so I just took them RIGHT before I went to sleep. It worked. Flinstone vitamins are good though....especially the red and purple ones

The prenatal vitamins were making me sick too. So I take two Flinestone vitamins instead. It's much better!
