Loosing Sleep - Help?
posted 2nd Aug
I've noticed as I get farther into this pregnancy that I'm loosing more and more sleep. I've figured out what's causing it; the baby wont stay still and is kicking the hell out of me keeping me up. Also I can't seem to find a comfortable pission to sleep in. It doesn't matter what side I lay on that hip seems to get sore fast. Or if I lay on my back, the baby kicks the hell out of me. Any advice? Cause this seems to go on for hours a night.

As for the comfortable position thing do you have a body pillow? They can be really good to sleep with while you're pregnant.

I've been having to sleep with pillows in between my legs, it keeps one elevated and helps relieve pressure. I've also found sometimes putting my belly on a pillow while on my side/tummy helps a lot too.

yes!! body pillows are apregnant womans dream (dont bother with an actual pregnancy pillowwaste of money considering body pillows work just as well). i also have to sleep with a pillow between my legs because my hips get sooooo sore so quickly, as well as one under my legs to kinda help with the pressure.
goodluck sleeping gets harder and harder the further along you get.

I suggest you get used to it.
You're pregnant, losing sleep comes with it, and after the baby comes, you'll be up every couple of hours anyways.

Thanks, everyone. I hope that it'll help. It was just starting to bug me and with this one being my first -- I had no idea what I would be in for.
