Molars??

Hayden has got 3 molars already and seems to be getting 2 more..We never had a problem with his first 3 molars but now he doesnt want to eat.. i have tried to give him wet cloths to chew on and teething rings.and we have tried baby orajel but it doesnt seem to be doing anything.. but he wont take anything.. he just shoves his hand in his mouth and screams.. any advise?? can cutting molars affect their appetite.?

It doesn't necessarily affect their appetite so much as it just hurts to eat. Em has done this off and on through all her teething phases. Molars are the worst for them in general, so just keep offering mushy foods that won't put alot of pressure on his gums. Em liked popsicles when she was cutting molars. Once we made it into toddlerhood the cold rags and teething rings never interested her. If he seems in too much pain, try some Motrin or Tylenol or some teething tablets about 30 mins before he eats.
