well thats what the documentary said--twins are opposites of each other-one a lefty and one a righty and if your child is left handed thanhe/she couldve had a vanishing twin who was right handed

I don't buy that at all. I have two sets of twin cousins, one paternal one identical and they are all right handed. We don't have any lefty's in our family, we are still waiting for one to pop up, LOL. Besides the fact my daughter had a twin who was also lost to vanishing twin and she's a righty.
OP I'm sorry for your loss. It's something I have also experienced and it was sad.

My mom was pregnant with twins for me, as well as my brother. She lost mine early on, and my brother's during a car accident. =/ It's very common, and it's really true. It's like, how in a lot of twin pregnancies, one baby is a big bigger than the other.

i know vt is common but twins being mirrors is not true. i know a whole hell of alot about twins.... (i have a set) and no where have i ever heard or read that is true... i have heard it was an old myth but not ever proven true... however it has been proven id twins do hit milestone with in hours of each other.

I probably will but will be in private maybe just me and eventually telling the baby when he gets older and if he wants to do something special we can do togther.. Assuming it's early in pregnancy, the twin will absorb the other. 1 in every 4 pregnancies start out as a twin.

yes that i know.... as i have said i know ALOT about twins.... however twins DO NOT mirror one another.... if one is a lefty that does not mean the other will be a righty that also does not mean that the other baby that was lost was the opposite. twin dna have nothing more in common than a normal brother and sister do unless they are id twins. there for twins mirroring one another does not happen
