so i had this idea....

posted 1st Aug
Okay... I have a 21 month old son who WILL NOT stay away from the outlets in our house. I have tried everything, those little plastic outlet covers are a joke....my son has an easier time getting those things out than i do. And i thought my only option left was to put those solid hard plastic covers on and just not use the outlets but than i had an idea. My son is TERRIFIED of bugs...which is really my fault because he has seen how scared of them i am. Sooo I bought a container of plastic bugs and some velcro and somemore of those plastic shock guard outlet inserts. And this is what i came up with...

Haha, that's clever. Hopefully it works until he realizes they're fake, haha.

Make sure you act scared of those so that he will too. It might take him awhile to realize if you act scared of them.

Aww.
I remember when I was little, I wanna say like 4. .anyways, I was at my grandma's house and me and my sister put a dime in the outlet! scared the shit out of us. lmao

That was a great idea! LOL When my little sister was about 18months old, she would always open the doors to the buffet cabinet and try to climb inside with all of my Mom's fine china and crystal. She was terrified of balloons (actually the sound they made when you stretched the neck and let the air out) so we tied a ballon on each handle of the cabinet. She wouldn't even go near it! LOL
