If anyone knows anything about this please fill me in.. I am wonderin if any of this is going to hurt my baby... ”You will have a colposcopy, which means they'll take samples from inside and get a closer look with a microscope. It's uncomfortable, but extremely common. It's best to get it taken care of and your doctor wouldn't do the procedure if it was dangerous to your baby. Look up HPV posts and you'll find tons more information! If you have any other questions, let me know!

Quoting [FGG]rileymarie[MAEK]:“ Eh. Well he told me as long as I don't have warts then they don't classify it as an STD. Maybe that's just my doctor or something haha.”
Quoting Sardaws8:“ Some doctors might not classify it as an STD - especially considering how wide-spread it is. I'd like to believe I wasn't giving it to people all that time ”
Quoting Jennie K:“ Years ago after I was raped I was told I contracted HPV. Now, this was back in 1989. In 1993, although ... [snip!] ... be informed and prevention is KEY! If you are below the age of 24 and able to, I highly recommend everyone to get the vaccine.”

You should be getting an extensive pap at about 16-20 weeks that will test for HIV/AIDS, Herpes, Chlamydia, Ghonnorea, (sp) etc. Have you noticed any lesions or symptoms? Have you been tested since being with him?
