Quoting OVERDUE MOMMY =[: i dont get it you bleed for a long time then you get your period right after that.
Quoting OVERDUE MOMMY =[: oh i get it now well hopefully am one of those lucky bitches that get her period months later! I bleed for 3 weeks after I had the baby. I then spotted a few days and then stopped. I started my first PP period this past Sunday, just a couple days shy of 9 weeks PP. I was not breastfeeding. That could delay the first PP period if you breast feed. Good luck and labor dust to you!
Quoting OVERDUE MOMMY =[: So am overdue still... but i was wondering about periods after birth.??? does your period start right ... [snip!] ... i already packed but i just feel like am missing something... so tell me what you guys packed when you went to the hospital.??blood flow does start immediately. For some it's heavier than others. It won't be like a normal period. For some (if you are breast feeding) an actual period might not come for quite awhile. For ladies who don't BF it might show up around 8-9 weeks PP. Just know that the bleeding after you give birth could last for a little while. Some have it for 2-3 weeks PP. For me, it was 2 weeks and I have yet to have a real period.
Quoting OVERDUE MOMMY =[: so i should bring pads too rite?
Quoting *~Dylan's Mom~*: Use their monster pads. I didn't think I would want to but boy I did. Bring some back up if you'd like. Do NOT bring tampons. That would be bad idea for you.
