people always ask "did it hurt"?

posted 31st Jul
and my answer to that is YES;however..when i first went into labor u know after my water broke i was all happy go lucky...and not feeling a thing at all..on my way to the hospital i called my babys father and was like dude im in labor and hes like are u serious and im like yeah i was soooo calm...i guess thats why people werent really buying it...so as soon as i got to the hospital they got me upstairs hooked me to the mechines and got to work...i went from 2 to 4 to 8 ct...soooooo quickly
i got there about 9:30am and i had my london at 5:43pm it was QUiCK!
okay so back to the pain...
so im pushing and im feeling the pain...the contractions!!!!!! OUCH!!!
and the nurse is like push im like i cant i cant...lol
but u know u have to so im pushing and im breathing and im just like omg this sh*t hurts like a motherfu**...then a few pushes later i hear the doctor say i see the head..and im like ooooow!
and i closed my legs....idk what happened all i kno i saw like 3 people come grab my legs and one push later OUT popped london.....
so thats my painful slightly beautiful story of child birth oh and btw i didnt use any drugs....didnt need to be cut or sticthed or anything like that...
she came out to be 6 pounds 15.5 ouces and was 15 inches long.....
HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE....

Congrats!!! That was quick. My husband was the same way. I told him I was in labor on night, and he didn't believe me. I stayed up on BG all night and once he even came out to the livingroom and told me to come to bed. Told him I couldn't sleep through the contractions! He thought they were just BHs because I'd had them for weeks and I was only a few days shy of 37 wks. Sure enough, I had my baby the next day.

It's weird...it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going to. And it's true what they say - once you see your baby, the pain just goes away.
I agree pushing was the hardest part. I was happy when that was over with!

Congrats on the baby!

but trust me it really isnt the worst pain in the entire world as people say..
a lost would be alot worst than to bring a life into the world...

I would of love to have it natural, first one i got to the hospital i was open 6 cm, and contracting every minutes, i was running everywhere in pain, crying trowing up lol.

Ithx god i had the epidural, i couldn't endure the pain anymore
But i felt it when i pushed, and when the head was out, i felt like i had the sun in my vagina, it was sooo burning lol

My labour was only 4 hours long it was great! I honestly didn't think it hurt that much until the pushing, it was just like really bad constipation. I had a shot of morphine and love it! For me the pain 'down below' after having my son was horrific though, far worse than labour, I had stitches and could barely move for days.
