How? When? Did you know?

hey everyone! I just want to get a little topic started. How far and old where you were you tested positive for an HPT? Did you have any symptoms? Were you "trying" or were you lucky and it just happened?

I'm trying to keep myself busy waiting for AF to come tonight.  
I hope it doesnt come just because it'll be a shock but then again I do because me and my "boyfriend" broke up several weeks ago

Oh and i was 22 years old when i got my HPT, it was a shock, i was on the pill at the time, i didn't have any symptoms either, except for a missed AF

I had my husband to thank.. I was like, 3 days late for my AF, and I tell him, "Phil.. I'm late."
he says
"where do you have to go?" >.< I waited a few more days, AF never showed, and on the day I planned to get a test, he comes up to me saying he had a dream I was pregnant, so we never bothered with a test lol

I was 21 and i was 2 months prego when i found out.. .. we were on vacation and i just couldnt eat anythingggggggggg!! felt soo naucious!! baby daddy got me a HPT...actually like 5 and sure enough it was a + ! i was shocked bc i was on the pill and obviously wasnt expecting it. took me a whole day to take it all in...the next day i was the happiest girl in the world!

I was 23 when I got a BFP. We were doing the whole 'wait and see' method (not really trying, not really 'not' trying).
I got my BFP the day before my AF was due. I decided to test, b/c I just had the feeling it would be positive. It was, yet I was still shocked. My hubby was even more shocked, lol.

I was 18 annnd I wasn't even 3 weeks when I found out. I was 4 weeks when I went to the doctor and got it confirmed. We weren't trying, I thought that I couldn't have children so it was apleasant surprise.

Why did u think you couldnt have children? The doctor told me the same thing and that I would need surgery to remove all the cysts which were preventing me from getting pregnant but I still have hope. Everyone always tells me a story about how they have an aunt or a cousin that had my same diagnosis and got pregnant anyways after a few years.

I had a lot of ovarian cysts and extremely irregular periods. I thought that I might have endometriosis or pcos or something because I was basically just freaking out about it lol. I was REALLY really stupid and didn't use protection for over a year with my boyfriend and figured that confirmed my belief that I couldn't have children and I eventually got pregnant lol. So now I know that it will obviously just be more difficult for me to get pregnant when I'm actually TTC, but not impossible.

Wow thats amazing. so basically it took you a year to get pregnant with your ex then? it's crazy because I was doing the same thing. I was having unprotected sex with my ex for about a year and never ended up pregnant... but every month always freaks me out and I'm having this hella weird nausea but its probably due to the car accident I just had.

Well, with my current boyfriend. We've been together for about 1 year and 6 months.
