..how do I talk him out of this?

My hubby and I have been discussing baby names, and he's starting to piss me off. He's full Sicilian and I'm 3/4 irish and 1/4 Cherokee.. But he's absolutely stuck on naming baby Fabrezio or Francesco if it's a boy! FABREZIO?! It sounds like a fabric freshener! GAH! Then he backed down a little to Fabricio - but still!!
He hates all the names I pick, I hate all the names he picks. I think we should let the baby name himself.. I could handle Frankenstein (ala Big Daddy) over Fabrezio.

Just keep tossing names around until you guys can agree on one!

hahaha im literally laughing out loud to this one!!! Thats hysterical. You guys will come to a conclusion on one! Give it time mama.. keep up on the online sites and buy a few books.. sit down with him and see what he says. maybe you can settle on one of them as a middle name?

Yah i had this same problem with my daughter. I decided to compromise by i pick the 1st name, he picks the 2nd. my aunt gave me the idea because my uncle liked sebastian and my aunt didnt. So he's James Sebastian.

Maybe that'll be a good way to compromise! I got my way, becuase the name i picked didn't go at all with his and he changed it to just marie at the last minute!!

I think Leo's friend in Titanic was named Fabrezio......

This is going to be a toughy....somewhere you guys will have to compromise. I am lucky, I pick a name, and as long as hubby doesnt hate it, thats our kids name.....he is pretty much go with the flow....

i say veto all the names you guys diagreed on and start fresh.

My Sicilian cousin is named Franco... grew up as Frankie... now goes by Frank. A little less unique but Italiano!

tell him to at least let you yay or nay a name or your going to put what you want on the birth cert! ;)

unfortunately, compromise is the only answer. try you naming the first, and him the middle, or wait and see who the baby looks more like (name wise)

Wow! Not to be rude, but I would NEVER name my children that lol.

Tell him you have to compromise, you're not settling for just what HE wants.

I like Anthony! His grandfather's name is Anthony, and there's like, 5 generations of Anthonys on my side of the family.. so that makes sense, right? Not to him.

Fabrezio. Ugh. It's an Italian Soccer player's name is why. He wikipedias Italian soccer players and then just randomly picks the one on the screen that sounds the most Italian. GAHH!

what about Anthony Fabrezio??? He might like it- its italian!!!
