This is DEBATE AND DISCUSS. We are here to debate this topic. If you don't like it or it makes you cry then venture out of here and reply to another topic. She's not promoting illegal abortions, she's showing what happens when abortion is illegal and the horrific at home abortions women are subjected to when they can't go to a clinic.

i dont think that was her intension, she was saying this is what women will resort to doing to themselfs if the right to chose a legal abortion is taken away from them.

I find there to be a need. I think it's a great topic.

I believe that every woman should have the right to choose. It's not for us to sit in judgement of her decision either. Every woman has an opinion on this subject, hell every woman, man, kid and dog has an opinion! I personally have my own set ofmorals and could NOT have an abortion. That's me though.Someone I love,knew that she could not care for a child and thought one might not survive the drug use that she had done in months prior to being pregnant and the first month after conception. So she chose to abort. Do I think less of her? No! Only the woman deciding knows what's best for her and what to do about it. As for the "legal, not so safe methods" They make me sick. The thought of taking a coat hanger and sticking it up there poking around at shit, makes me a little nervous. I think it's sad that some women have resorted to using that method.

I personally dont believe in abortions and if you dont want kids then keep your pants zipped and stop acting like sex crazed whores. And if someone jabs a coat hanger up their vagina then they certainly have more problems than a pregnany, they may want to consider mental health problems too.

When my mom was 17 she was date raped. This was during a time when abortion WAS illegal. Instead of having something done in a back alley way with a dirty metal hanger she was very fortunate that her parent's had money. They sent her to Europe to have it done as it was legal there.
I don't want to think about what would have happened had she not been so lucky.

Why not? It's a great topic to discuss. So many people want to make abortio illegal, but if the government makes it illegal people who want abortions are still going to have abortions. So it's just a waste of time to make it illegal.
