Quick question?

my daughter will be 2 weks old tomm. and she has not pooped since sometime in the middle of tuesday night.

So is this normal, for her to go 2 days or what is noraml?
and what is safe to give her for constipation if she is indeed constipated? I plan on calling the doctor tommorow since the office is done closed today.. But thanks so much for your advice!

Mix a little prune juice with formula, their def suppose to poo everyday multiple times a day call the doc tomorrrow

bottle/forumla fed babies need to go everyday, breastfed can vary.

I have heard of breasted babies going for a few days all the time, because theyuse up somany nutrients from the breastmilk.

If you breast feed it came be 3 or 4 days between poo. Their little bodies use up almost everything in the breast milk so they don't poo as often..
But you can also try rubbing her tummy and doing bicyle legs

Dont be scared hun! does she seem uncomfortable or anything? put a warm cloth on her belly, or try a massage with baby oil warmed in your hands, or the bicycle legs. Ive heard some mums pop a q-tip up a little with some lube on it, apparantly it makes the poop come right out!

Don't worry too much, the bicyle legs really really work!
