doctor visits...

At wut pointdid u ladies have to start seeing ur docs every wk? I had an appointment on tuesday and was told everything was fine and top come back in 4 wks... which will put me at 36 wks! Is that when my doc will ck my cervix? (sp?) I know she's going to do the strep culture thing... but just wondering if at that point I go weekly n get cked each time?

When you are 9 months you come every week. But you should be every other starting at 32. SO I think 36 is when you come every week. But thats kinda weird because you should come every other before every week. But I started every other early because Im high risk.

36 weeks for me

im due a day before you and i have all my appointments set already... they start doing weekly checkups for me at 34 weeks.... but i hear they check if your dialated at 36 weeks...

I started going every two weeks at 30 wks... and now i go every wek b/c im high risk but other wise it would be every week at 36 and checked then too

If you are at a military hospital, they won't start seeing you every week until you are 38 weeks and that's when they will check you also!

Ohh how strange... I do remember hearing that after 30 something u go twice a month then u jump to weekly... I guess my doc is confident for me to go another 4 wks w/ out seeing her cuz I haven't had any problems or complications throughout the whole pregnancy! She just told me to call her if I had any concerns!!!

BTW.. does it hurt when they ck ur cervix?

I see ur in cali as well! My hubby just got out of the marines in Jan, he was stationed in NC and I stayed in ca the whole time... thedistance was horrible  but we made it.My bro in law is stationed in Mira mar so we head out there here nthere totheir place!
