But I quoted you. Are you trying to say since you were talking to her I can't talk to you? and since it's a public forum it does give someone the right to do that. There's nothing about it on the TOS so people can do whatever they want. and if you want to argue that they can't I'll argue that people can't act like complete dumb asses and make things personal involving family and race but they sure do that.

yes but harassment if it is unprovoked is rude and most types are illegal. Just because it isn't written that you can't harass doesn't mean that it is allowed. Most of these people you don't know personally, and you probably won't ever know, if you want to harass someone, do it to someone you know face to face. You don't and won't ever know the person that you are harassing more than likely so what is the point of bringing them down? Does it make the person doing the harassing feel better about themselves?

I think that no one has the right to call anyone rude names bc they don't agree with what they think or say. While there is an ignore button, the person harassing & being mean is tearing someone down & that's just not ok. Honestly, you don't even know what that person is dealing with in real life or the kind of things that go on on the other side of the screen. What's the point in tearing someone apart? If you don't agree you're not an idiot or stupid or dumb, you just have a different opinion! Yes, it's a public forum but what does that have to do with not showing respect for diversity?
