Whooping Cough...

This is crazy... The pediatritian(sp?) in this artical is the one my girls go to!

Exactly why vaccinations are necessary!!

"The pediatricians also see a few cases in children who got whooping cough despite having been immunized against it, she said."


This is from that same passage Even if your immunized against it, you could still get it, thus, making vaccines unnecessary.

I would imagine that the chances of getting it when vaccinated are much lower than if you aren't vaccinated.

Nope. Poland actually has stopped all usage of the Polio vaccine because even people who got the entire series of shots got it, and it didn't protect anyone against it.

Both of my girls are fully vaccinated or are in the process of... I never even thought twice about not having them vaccinated!!
