Okay this a personal like family question so I want real help!!

Um my daughter is 10 and her friend who is 10 just got her first period. She asked me about them. Is she too young to know or should I tell her?? Can you really get them at age 10??

A friend of mine got hers when she was ten or eleven... Fifth grade... I don't understand, are you doubting the fact that she really got it?

I had mine at 12, my mom told us looooooooooooong before what to expect. Go to a book store, there's a bunch of different books that explain things the way a 10 year old can understand. I suggest telling her and also SHOWING her how to take care of it (IE, showing her how to put a pad in her undies, where the pads are, etc).

You should tell her! I got mine at 12 and for some reason I didn't feel comfy telling my mom like I was embarressed or something. I ended up making a mess during school and my teacher discussed it with me. I kind of wish she would have just brought it up and discussed it with me. We were never really close though.

i got mine at 9 and a half. so itgs possible. just tell her or she will ask and get wrong info from someone else. clearly if she is asking then she is old enough to know the truth. ifu dont wanna go into details (like the part about periods being the reason women can get pregnant) then dont....
