My name is Corine and I have one 9 year old daughter, Harley. I am pregnant right now in my 4th month and want to quit smoking. I have been smoking for 15 years. It is hard for me because I smoked when I was pregnant with my daughter and she was/is perfect. I bought the patches today to quit smoking. I have been asking my doctor for help and that is what he told me to do. He said it was better to use the patch than having the toxic fumes along with the nicotine. I have set my quit date for the 12th of August (3 days away) and am not suppose to use th epatch until then. In the mean time, I am going through the house and cleaning it to get rid of the smoke smell. Tonight I am getting rid of all ashtrays and will not allow smoking in the house anymore (including my fiance who is out at a bachlor party tonight)....surprise honey, you have to smoke outside now! Please PT me if you are in this same situation and we can be support buddies.

those are side effects of quitting smoking period. Atleast that is what the pamphlet in the Patch says.
