Yeast infection question... Please...

I have had one or two yeast infections before, back when I was in high school, but I never had any symptoms with them. I'd just go in for a pap and would get told that I had a yeast infection. It was always news to me because I never had any itching or discharge to make me think I had one.

Well, for the past couple of days I have been having an almost constant itch in the exact same spot right inside my vaginal opening. I obviously can't really scratch it, since it's INSIDE. It is SO freaking annoying. I haven't had any itchiness on the exterior of my vagina. I also haven't really had any increase in discharge. Could this be a yeast infection?
I went ahead and picked up a Monistat 3 Comination Pack, and I was planning on using it starting tonight. I had a doctor appointment today but I got some bad news so I totally forgot to ask her about this. Monistat is safe to use during pregnancy, right?

I'm going to call my doctor I guess. I'm really confused because I can't seem to find anything about interior vaginal itching. It's INSIDE and it's killing me!!! I can't get my mind off of it.

I just called my doctor's office. It's after hours and I've never had to call after hours before. It was sent to an answering service and a guy answered   so I hung up. lol

all you need to do when you get an anwering service isstate that you need to speak with a doctor or nurse that is on call for the evening. they shoud take your name and number and then the doctor or nurse on call will call you back.   piece of cake!

Yeah I realized that when I was telling my husband what I had just done. I called back and (although it was a girl) I just asked to talk to my doctor or the doctor that was on call. lol The doctor called me a few minutes later and told me to go ahead and do the Monistat 3 thingy that I got. I hope that it is ok even if I might be dilated. My doctor still didn't check me, but with all of this pressure I am starting to think that I am dilated by at least a little bit.

yeah me too...on the dilation thing! there are some moments during my day that i feel like baby ava will fall out lol. i am going to the docotor tomorrow so lets have fingers crossed for some progress!
