Adult Diapers

Okay so Ive heard some girls talk about how they used adult diapers for their PP bleeding and I was just wondering if anyone else did as well. If you did what brand did you use, did it work better than pads, and did you use just the diaper or did you also use a pad with it. My biggest fear is to have an accident in bed with my hubby, please help....

god i can't remember what it was like to have a period. i don't WANT to.

I used Depends while I was in the hospital. They worked out so much better than the pads. But once I was home, I switched to super dooper pads.  

Usually the worse of your bleeding is in the hospital before you come home.

The first day is pretty bad. The second day is a little better. And then it is just like a heavy period.
I used the depends in the hospital because the pads were so small, and I had to change them every hour or so. The depends really helped out.

It's really not that bad.

LMBO - I took all the super pads from the hospital I could (asked for a new package the morning before I left) and I took some of those disposable blue liners they put under (well i didnt take, they gave)... but I did take this other super thick cloth washable thing they put on my bed. Never leaked on it so I now use it as protection under Kelly's changing table changingpadcover.

Then once all those ran out, I used depends and then straight to panty liners for about 2 weeks.

lmao its been 8 months since i had the twinbinos an i could still do with a diaper! ever since ive needed to pee all the time now, like during the night too. it sucks!

Im 3wks PP tmrw and Im not even bleeding anymore, I do though still wear thin pantyliners for light discharge. I guess it just depends on ur body,like some women complain about their pee burning after labor and sometimes wks after that but like an hour after my 9lb12oz lil man popped out I had to pee and I did and it barely burned.The nurse was like "Wow! didnt expect that so soon". So,I could blah blah blah forever but I used the pads and cold packs the hospital offered and then when I ran out bought overnight always pads. Good luck,its not that bad 

In hospital I used Kotex underwear pads - they were wonderful.

There's a sewing pattern for post partum diapers, so it must not be all that 'different' of an idea.
