did you know that hormonal bc does not prevent the joining of sperm and egg? ijust makes an enviroment that unsuitable for pregnancy.. so all in all if you use hormonal bc you probably have lots of babies in heaven, because really if you look at it youve aborted them all?

This is not entirely true. The pill stops ovulation, preventing ovaries from releasing the egg, it also thickens the cervical mucus making it harder for the sperm to enter the uterus.

that is what i was thinking chelsey. what she said does happen only if a fertilized egg happens to be released but normally it doesnt work... i was told that.

i couldnt find one... i jusy know what my doctor told me when i got knocked up twice on the shot....

Really? I thought the shot was suppose to be more effective than the pill.

i guess it is.... until you get pregnant on it. the odd thing is i know a handful of women who got pregnant on it are having twins

i know thats what i thought. i have personally met5 women who got pregnant on the shot 3 were having twins.

Its like it ups the possibility of having twins if your on the shot..not sure if thats a fact but what your saying seems to be a possibility.

my doc said he has noticed that trend too... and he wonders if maybe they have not fully figured out how to give it to make it fully affective because he has heard that when it wears off it can cause the women to ovulate from both overies... he also said that i always ovulate from both

Don't women normally ovulate from both ovaries when in ovulation?

i was told they take turns. one ovulates one month then the other the next. and thats why they can tell you witch overy they come from now.
