re: Cross Nursing

I'm editing my original post: It was 9 babies, and 4 of the babies' mothers were injured and could not feed them; the other 5 babies' mothers were killed in the quake. Here is the link to the article:

that is completely different. i think any mother would do anything so their child wouldn't starve. i doubt anywoud would say "oh thats gross, i'd rather have my baby die, than breastfeed from another woman"

I am receiving breast milk from a donor because I could not nurse my baby . I don't think it is bad because BM is the best for the baby.

i cant even imagine a mother who would say that..thats just crazy. of course if my child was facing starvation and the only option was for her to nurse off of another woman or starve...than you better believe she would be nursing!!...

ummmm....i dont think that i would be comfortable nursing my own sibling(s). that just seems kind of wierd.....but thats just m/o.

Ok, yeah...THAT'D be a little weird.

I think its fine. If i was close enough to a person and trusted them , i wouldnt mind allowing them to BF my child.
And vice versa.

i thought so too, but my mom saw no problem with it. guess this sort of thing varies from woman to woman.
