The Secret Life of The American Teenager

Have any of you mommies checked this show out? It airs Tuesdays at 8pm 7 Central on ABC Family. It's about a normal teen who friends adore, parents admire her, sister is jealous of her but only when it comes to praises from the parents, and she's part of a marching band. Turns out the cute, innocent girl ended up pregnant from just one night of 2 second sex (that's how she put it lol) with the school sex pot Ricky. He's in a relationship (if you want to call it that) with a similar sex pot Adrien. Then there's the blonde hair blue eyed Christian Grace who has a boyfriend who is also a Christian Jack but he slept with (or just had oral sex) Adrien.

I advise all parents to watch this with their teen. The show is awesome and I just love the way they depict each teen. I would like to watch this with my 8 year old daughter but I would just end up buying the season dvd and watch it with her when she turns 12.  

I wanted to see it before it started coming on but i keep forgeting. Thanks for the show update tho if i watch it tonight i wont be so lost

I watch it. Its cheesy .. but I loved 7th Heaven so I wanted to watch this show since it's the same producer. I think the actors are really bad, but since I feel like I'm in a similar situation I thought it would be good to watch. I actually watch it with my mom too. Haha  

Yeah I've watched it....I wasn't quite sure what it was and my 9 year old nephew was staying the night with me and said he wanted to watch it....I told him I would DVR it and we could watch it the next morning....well I stayed up and watched it....I lied and told him it didn't record cuz it is definately not something a 9 yo should watch....But it is a good show for like 13 and up

I only saw the second episode-I think-the one where her sister asks her if she's pregnant.I keep forgettin when it's on. But I really wanted to watch it before it actually aired.

Haha, yeah she is a mom. At first, I was more concerned of her acting skills than the plot lol. She hasnt been on the scene or IN SCENE for a long time. Gees.

But anyways, hubster made fun of me for watching it because he heard an Avril Lavigne song in the back. LOL. I'm like 'shuttup, it's not even the video!'
