Question with Throwing Up

My baby is 10 days old and loves to eat.. He just started getting to where he will throw up after he eats sometimes he will eat every hour and eat 2 oz.. Anyways he has this stringy clear mucous and starts to gag and choke when he coughs, like he is trying to get it out but can't. He is making faces like he doesn't feel good and you can hear/feel his stomach churning. Has anyone expierenced this or know anything about it or what I should do? I don't want to call the Ped unless it is serious (its so hard to get them on the phone)

He's a two weeker. They have to make him a priority.
