Quoting hailey*n*hanna:“ I know the feeling. Even though I have done this twice already and had to have a D&C last year where ... [snip!] ... oozing off my body so I am a little curious what they are going to do this time as they are "still weighing out the options!"”
Quoting ~*Katrina*~:“ Oh no that's horrible! I hope they find something that you can use safely. I would have been freaking ... [snip!] ... of questions for my OB! Glad Im not alone. I can't wait to hear how everything goes since I will be just a month behind you!”
Quoting Leilany's Mommy!:“ we are due same day and we both are having a repeat c-seciton! im having mine on the 18th!”
Quoting ~*Katrina*~:“ I am really stressing having another c-section. To be honest, I'm a bit terrified. This week is finally ... [snip!] ... I get very anxious about surgery, I'm not sure how I am going to get my butt to the hospital without majorly freaking! ”I say screw them! They are not the ones that have to go thru the recovery! Your risks are MUCH lower and less with a VBAC. If they don't like it to darn bad. I am doing a VBAC - trust me I have gotten flack from people. I just look at them and ask "Are you my dr? Last time I checked you weren't" I would never do anything that would endanger me or my child, so why would I even consider a VBAC if its not safe?? You have to do whats right for you - and not what they want you to do hun. They think they have the facts - just blow them off. I would go for the VBAC - you and I both know recoverying from a c-section SUCKS! Good luck!
Quoting Jackson Scott's Mommy:“ I say screw them! They are not the ones that have to go thru the recovery! Your risks are MUCH lower ... [snip!] ... the facts - just blow them off. I would go for the VBAC - you and I both know recoverying from a c-section SUCKS! Good luck!”
Quoting ~*Katrina*~:“ Thanks! I do know recovering from a csection sucks! I just don't understand why people think that ... [snip!] ... just wish people would be more informed before having an opinion... but that will never happen. Good luck with your vbac!!!”
Quoting Jackson Scott's Mommy:“ Thanks! Yes I did a LOT of research and I even printed off everything I thought was creditable to my ... [snip!] ... a list of questions and such. I was very in depth about it. I hope you choose to do a VBAC. Good luck on your decision dear. ”
Quoting ~*Katrina*~:“ I have my list of questions right here I did them last night. Last week I went to the hospital and took ... [snip!] ... risks csections have. I have an appt on Friday and plan to talk to him about it. Hopefully I can make a decision soon, thanks!”The one thing that really swayed me was my dr said this " With a VBAC you only have a .08% chance of a uterine rupture but with any other kind of medical procedure a dr. can NEVER give you anything than a 5% chance of something going wrong." If that helps any. Good luck. Again no prolem!
Quoting ~*Katrina*~:“ I am really stressing having another c-section. To be honest, I'm a bit terrified. This week is finally ... [snip!] ... I get very anxious about surgery, I'm not sure how I am going to get my butt to the hospital without majorly freaking! ”well the midwifes here are all for the vbac but the doctors not so much. I think you should give it a try I was told the chances of something going wrong is slim in a vbac, compared to lightning striking you is your chances of something bad happening in a vbac but I am in the same boat hoping for a successful vbac.
