I was actually told the other day that I was depriving Kaden b/c he isn't getting a birthday cake! He is but we are putting it off a few months until his daddy comes home from Iraq.

I fel bad for this girl because my next door neighbors are overweight, and theyre daughter is over 300 lbs and shes somewhere between 9-12. she has to use a walker and cant even ride the normal school bus, she has alot of issues and she can never really go outside and play with all the other kids cuz she cant keep up with them, she screams at night for cheese burgers and her parents give them to her, that 3 year old is going to have some serious issues shortly.

That is just wrong

pregnancy hormones I want to cry how could she do that to her own kid? My daughter will never be hungry.When she asks for a snack i sayhere is a bowl of grapes or here is a cookie not a box of cookies with a side of chicken wings.

I always make melon salads and my niece and nephew love it! they would eat it all the time... I really think that it has to do with the eating habits you teach your children, becasuse they had friends over here and I had the melon salad out and the other children thought it was gross and there mom told me ya they dont eat that stuff, just junk food!! well that is because she lets them!!

I will let my son have some junk food to snack on SOMETIMES but its a TREAT... not an everyday meal substitute.

Depriving?? Um NO! Cake is something extra. Its not like you were saying that he isnt allowed to have the basic bread and water.

OH and i would jsut like to say that its one thing to be over weight because of some heath issue liek thyrod or whatever but thats not the case here. My mom has been overweight for ever pretty much and its really cause she over eats. SHe is cutting back and is finally losing weight. I jsut wanted to clarify for the one person that got a little upset at someone else. Mecidal problems are the exception but this is just not the case here. The way she feeds that child is rediculus..

see thats not depriving, thats you wanting to share a special moment with the WHOLE family! some people just need to know when to keep their opinions to themselves.

I agree this isnt to hurt anyone! I do understand there are really health issues that people deal with adn it affects their weight. But in this case I feel that the parents are some what forcing their child to be over weight.

thats what i say. to each his own. its like, he is my child, and i will do what i believe is in his best intrest, once you have kids [or if you already have kids] then you will raise them the way you see fit, til then stfu! lol.

It is child abuse, and the child should be taken away until the mother knows how to provide nutritious food, not feed her child like a whale.

we had a customer come into the dealership and she was overweight and she had a child about 4 who wasnt overweight, but had a nother child who was about 9 who was overweight, morbidly overweight, and one of the sales guys said the same thing, that its child abuse.
