rice cereal

Just wondering when everyone started their little ones on the rice cereal. Just curious about what is too early

Most pedi.'s give you the ok at 4 months.

a week before she turned 6 months

Between 4-6 months unless told otherwise by your pedi.

I started him at 3 1/2 months Doctors order,They don't give you the Okay untill 4months.

He now is almost 6 months,eats cereal,& baby food.

My pedi said wait till 6 months -- but if I want to experiment a lil before his 6 month appt that's fine.

I started my son early he was going thru so much formula a month like 40-45 cans and normally its like 30-32 a month. so i started giving it to him like at 2 months but just like a teapoon or so not alot.If you want them to sleep longerduring the night a little drop isnt gonna hurt them it just sticks to their stomach and doesn't run thru them as fast so they sleep longer.

I think it was about 5 months when I gave mine anything other than a bottle. The dr. scared me and told me to wait and wait until she was 6 months old and then when she was that old, she had grown so attached to the bottle that she had no interest in solid foods. I think waiting is good, but too long can cause some problems like in our case. She still doesn't eat a whole lot and she's 22 months now. She still likes to drink Milk and juice   Good luck.
