What happen to looking 14 and 15?

posted 28th Jul
The other day I was looking at one of those gossip websites, and I saw a picture of Miley Cyrus and Lindsey lohans’ sister, Ali, and I asked Chris “ How old do you think they are”. He said
18 or 19? I thought to myself, when I was 14 and 15, I didn’t wear all that makeup and I didn’t dress the way they do now. So for those of you who have girls, when will you let your daughter wear makeup and will you allow them to dress like the 15 year olds are now?
By the way, Ali is 14 and Miley is 15! ( that's lindsey lohan on theleft and her sister on right. I guess that's lindsey when she was her age)

I was allowed to wear make up from about 12 years old on. I think I'll let my daughter do the same as long as she doesn't overdo it. But I won't allow her to wear clothes that show too much or anything (although I know some girls sneak around). I personally don't agree with it, but they're not my children.

Are you sure they are 14 and 15? They look incredibly grown. I'm having a girl and to be honest I don't know when I'll let her wear make up. And she definitely will not be dressing like that at 14 or 15. I didn't start wearing make-up until my junior prom; that's when I was taught how to put it on.

My daughter loves Miley Cirus and is always asking to dress like Hannah Montana, she is 6(7 in sept). My husband and I are on the same page that she will not dress like them until she can buy her own clothes, lol. I think that is silly to want your little girl to look older at such a young age. lip gloss and maybe some fun eyeshadow here and there but that is about it, no short skirts or low tops for my little one.

Make up i prolly will if she wants to dressing like that no. My dad still fusses at me when i wears shirts with no sleves he just does like being able to see bra or skin. And mind you im 24!! And moved out many years ago. I just wouldnt let my child dress like a hooker or thats what they will become IMO.

Did you wear makeup like that?

I was allowed to wear makeup when when I turned 13 as long as it looked like I wasn't wearing it. I'm still really young and the only makeup I tend to wear is mascara and maybe eye shadow.

I see Miley in that picture and she look like she is at LEAST 21. They are beautiful girls, but age approriate goes both way, if your 15 or if you 60!

I want to know how they got their boobs and at 27 I'm still waiting for mine! Seriously they don't look their age at all. It's crazy because at 14, my kid is going to want to look that way, I can say with certainty that she won't!

I wore alittle bit of makup, like lip gloss and that was it. My mom never taught me how to wear makeup. I wore make up at prom and I felt so weird in a grown up dress and makeup.

If my daughter wanted to wear make-up then thats fine, as long as she isnt putting on a mask. Nothing wrong with some lip gloss and masscara. But she will not be dressing like a hooch. The beauty of being a mother is you have control of the funds that she needs to buy her clothes with. If I dont approve them, then shes not wearing it. I'm not saying she has to dress like a nun, but shes not dressing like a hooker.

Amen to that , lol I dressed cute when I was in High school but I never wore those short shorts and lots of makeup to do so.

At 13 I could wear a light brown eye shadow, little powder, and lip gloss. Thats it though, no masscara either. The girl on the right of Lindsey looks like she is like 28 or something! I feel bad for the guy who misjudges her age, can anyone say statutory rape! Yikes!

I think you can dress cute and not have to be showing every body part.
