Ugh I hate breaking out!

posted 28th Jul
So even before I was pregnant I would break out pretty often, so now it's much worse. And i've read that i'm not supposed to use anything with benzoyl peroxide or salisylic acid in it, so there goes all the acne facewashes. I was just wondering if anybody knew anything else that would help. I've been using a normal facewash but it doesn't help with my breakouts   Thanks!

Ugh it's so aggrivating! I'm trying that neutrogena wave thing b/c i was hoping it would scrub my face better, but i really don't see much of an improvement. I want to use the facewash for acne!

My breakouts got way worse after I got pregnant. nothing has seemed to help me, but now that I'm in my 6th month is has gotten a little bit better. Maybe its something we just gotta wait out? all the hormoans goin haywire in our bodies is why, I doubt a facewash will be able to do much.

What works great for me is Neutrogena. It's all in blue bottles: I use the foaming facial cleanser, alcohol free toner, and then combination skin moisterizer.

They have the same stuff but cheaper at CVS, if you have one around you. It's CVS brand but works just as great. I have been also drinking LOTS of water lately and it's been really helping. Don't like water, but we need it! I also just bought some mineral powder from maybelline and it's been WONDERFUL. It's so light and doesn't clog my face up.

All you need to worry about is making sure your face is clean, then tone with a toner to get access crap out your pores and moisterize so your face doesn't over produce it if you don't use it. Good luck!

Water water water...........also, if you exfoliate at least once a week, that helps too. Don't scrub too hard either!

I know it's pricey, but I am hardcore about my skin now since I went to get a facial done. I seriously would get a facial over a massage any day. She pretty much gave me a report on my face and now I know how to take care of it, because not everyone is the same.I never knew I had combination skin....always thought it was dry.

Thanks! I've been sticking to the neutrogena products for a while now, so i'd like to keep it like that. When I go to the store i'm going to look for all of that stuff and hope it helps a little. I've been using that maybelline mineral makeup also. I like it but I get tired of makeup fast (i'm always buying new stuff), so i'm going to try a different kind of mineral makeup for a while.

I love make up too, lol. I break out a lot as well, but I make it worse because I always pick. I know, yuck.
It's a pain in the ass to do it when you wake up and go to bed, but it really helped me out BIG TIME. If your Tzone is oily and your cheeks are dry or vice versa, thats combination. Oily if its ALL over, dry if your dry, and sensitive is rashy itchy. I got some facial wipes for those nights I am too tired to wash my face..........2 year old and a 2 mo. old make me run to bed, haha.

Have fun! I just did a cabinet sweep and thru everything old out. I swear I could be a mini walgreens. I just love trying new stuff. I have all this for my face:
foaming wash
toner
moisturizer
Spot treatment (thats the name of it-neutrogena)
St. Ives apricot scrub, I do every Wednesday
Mint Juliep mask, haha.........those are just so refreshing andit makes my husband giggle.
I even have some biore, I like the nose strips
It's a lot, but its a great feeling to know I FINALLY know how to take care of my skin!
