Fluttering Consistency at 17 Weeks

I've felt what I am sureto bethe first fluttering movements atthe end ofmy 15th week. I'm currently 17 weeks and 3 days. The movementare still only felt internally, like soft kicks. The issue is that I can go 2 or 3 days without feeling anything and then just as I start to get concerned I'll feel a little somthing. I know it is still early and most first time mom's don't feel anything until 20-22 weeks butI thought once I couldfeel the movements I wouldfeel them consistently. Just wondering what your experience has been. Thanks foryour help.  

i think i felt my baby move at around 18 weeks and he would sometimes move all day and hten nothin fr weeks... i asked hte doctor and she told me it completel normal that early your baby is still so small that you mite not feel every movement the baby makes....if you are concerned tho dont hesitate to ask you dr. they kno the best of anyone.. and every pregnancy and baby is defferent...good luck!!

This is my 3rd and was the least active til I hit 25 weeks.I wouldn't have movement every day until around 23 weeks and the intensity picked up-you don't have to do kick counts until 28 weeks for this reason.Save your worries for another day Mama!

I would feel the fluttering movements like u did and they would be on and off..sometimes it would be a few days before i felt her again..its normal...just wait till she really starts to kick...u dont have that much longer until u really feel her kicking and when she started she hasnt stopped...the fluttering feeling wasnt consistent but the kicking is.. 

im 19 weeks and im not sure ive felt anything yet.. i mean ive had some wierd feelings and thought i may have felt him.. but it never lasted or happened long enough for me to believe it was the baby..  

Thanks ladies. I thought it was a little early but I figured I would ask before I drove everyone around me crazy including myself.I go for my 2nd trimester u/s Friday, but I couldn't wait until then to ask my doctor and if I call his office one more time I think they'll have me committed.

It probably is him. I'm no expert (obviously) and I know everyone is different but the movements I've felt usually aren't on going. Only once were they continuous and frequent enough to wake me from my sleep. The feeling is hard to explain, like bubbles I guess. I usually am sitting really still when they happen. I get so excited everytime I feel him/her. When did you find out you were having a boy? I go this Friday.

Ive been feeling that fluttering thing sincethe start of my 15th week. At first Id feel it when I was sitting down or lying down. Now i feel it when Im up, down, walking. It comes and goes. No real kick, just flutters. There are days Im sure its the baby, other I tell myself im just feeling an an artery.

I cant wait tofeel something more definitive!!
