Anyone with a Mirena IUC experience this?

I had my Mirena put in back in Nov 07. I had my period every month around the 24th. Well I didnt get my period in June, early July I had some SEVERE cramp like pain in my lower abdomen ( I dont think I spelled that right but I dont care. Too tired to care) for a week or so then a couple of days ago I had bright pink spotting. I dont have the money for a pregnancy test (I think I have 10 cents to my name right now if I'm lucky) so I was just wanting to know if anyone else has gone through this and it be normal for the mirena? I was pretty happy with it and the idea of not having a period appealed to me at first, but now I'm going crazy. I really don't want another kid.

I haven't had any periods since I had her yet, but I'm still breastfeeding too.... Sorry I couldn't be more help...

well, i have had cramps like that off and on but i havent had a period in like 8 months and then the other day i had a little pink on my panties and when i wiped and barely even noticed it. i dont know what it was from. but i have been feeling fluttering in my stomach for like the last 2 months and i've taken a pregnancy test - it said negative but i feel it alot in my lower stomach. i dont know i think i want mine out.

Yes. I went through almost the exact same thing. I haven't had a period now for 3 months. I love it

your periods might just be tapering off to none. that would be nice. i have been spottign since i got mine in december   sucks, but still better than being pregnant   haha

i got mine put in early feb, and i haven't got my period for july yet, so im kinda freakin' out. The only time my period has ever been late was when it didn't come & i found out i was pregnant. plus, i've been getting heartburn so bad & the only time i ever got it was when i was pregnant. but i haven't had any spotting, i dont think im much help.

Wow, I thought I was the only ne that got really bad cramps. I think that it is just your body getting used to it. Also if you have looked at some of the pitcures in the brochure or only you will see why cramps hurt so much. The IUC is like pressed right up against your uterine walls and when your uterus contracts it puts pressure on the IUC. My mom experienced some severe cramps with hers and did the spotting thing. I have been spotting since March when I got mine in.
