NO C-SECTION PLEASE!!!

so those of u who havent read my post this past weekend i have a slow leak in my water my contractions were 7-8 min apt on friday so they sent me home till i soaked threw a pad or the pains were 4 min apt so i had the craziest ruffest weekend full of pain and being extremly uncomfy saturday i got so swollen i couldnt even stand my contractions were so painful but they were still 7 min apt theyd go on for about an hour and then stop for a few and start again sunday morning i could hardly sleep i couldnt close my legs it was just a terrible pain so my mom told to do the nasty and maybe it would move things along so we did and the pains just stopped completly which was good i guess then night time came around the pains had me in tears i get dizzy and really tired when they happen to they were 5 minutes apart i fell asleep and would wake up every two hours to the pain still 5 min apt i got up this morning and there about 10 min apt but im losing a crazy amount of mucus all over again im scared that when i go into the doctor today if i havent dialted hes gonna schedule i csection that painful recovery and the scar ahhhhhhhhhh my defective cervix where can i go exchange it for a new one!! ( i wasnt dialting on friday)

I am really confused. If you are leaking amniotic fluid why would they send you home? Aren't they concerned about infection? And you certainly should not be having sex with broken water as that really really increases your chances of infection.

I have a cervix that way  I have had 2 c-sections and a 3rd scheduled on the 20th. Not as bad as it seems I promise. It will be a painful recovery but if you take your pain meds and take it easy you should heal pretty fast. Good Luck to you KUP.

good luck at the docs today. I was in labor foe 18 hours but the doctors said that because I walked through the contractions and just kept walkin that it helped me in labor alot faster. Sorry but it helped me and I looked at the things I liked (shoes, clothes, etc.).

its a slow leak i havennt even soaked a pad they said it could be something as simple as the baby scratching it with a nail i kno i looked at her like she was crazy to and my cervix isnt dialting! so that might be another reason why its leaking slow im kind of confused myself because2 weeks ago when i got a shot to stop my contractions i was 50% Effaced and 1/2 a centimeter dialted? and this nurse said i wasnt dialted or effaced maybe shes just stupid but they expected me back in friday night but i didnt soak a pad and the pains didnt make it to 4 min apt? so i waited till today to go see my doc

I had a c-section with my first the scar itsn't that bad recovery was maybe about three weeks before I could move the way I wanted but I was up and walking around later tht night to see my son in the nicu so you'll be okay just pray that you don't need one

Ummmm yeah... leaking is leaking hun. You have a hole (doesn't matter how big it is) in your amniotic sac. You should NOT be having intercourse as it does certainly increase the chances you will end up with an infection. Please talk to your doctor about this.

well i guess everyones been giving me the wrong advice im just trying to be done with this these pains are to crazy 4 days of this is no joke and i feel like i have made no progress =0(
