PP question...Tmi

So I'm 4, almost 5 weeks pp and ever since I left the hospital I have had this horrible odor down there. No matter what I do it won't go away and I was wondering if anyone had this problem to. Also, I still have this goo coming out, kinda like mucus..is that normal? A little help here please   sorry if this is tmi

Maybe you have an infection? I would get it checked out just incase. I think some odor is normal ( like a period) but not sure how much is still okay and the goo might also be a sign of infection.

are u using maternity pads rather then tampons like they say to because if u are it could just be the pads (period blood can smell)

but def see ur doc asap coz that isnt normal

I had a weird odor when I had my locchia, but it went away as soon as I stopped bleeding (around 3 weeks). If you're not bleeding anymore, or if you have any other symptoms, I'd call the doc.

Yes, I'm using pads..but I'm not bleeding. just have the mucusy stuff

possibly a bad yeast infection are u itchy?? and burning down there?

Not burning but every so often itchy..  

i would def see ur doc tomorrow if u can or try some thrush tablets (VERY IMPORTNAT NOT THE CREAM to soon after birth for that)

it could be an infection it dont sound like typical post partum bleeding. cant hurt to call your obgyn anyway. its better not to wait until your postpartum visit to be sure.
