Does anyone know if this is normal?

I got a positive pregnancy test 9DPO and each day after that I got negatives I started my period on 13DPO. It started out as spotting but within a few hours it went to really heavy like soaking a super absorbency tampon every 2 hours. But as of the last 2 hours I have had to change them every hour. I know they say that if you soak a pad an hour you should call the doctor. Is it the same with tampons?

If it is a super tampon for heavy flow, then yes, it's the same.

I would definitly call!!!! Anything heavy like that.

I would call. That sounds like a lot of bleeding.

Really sounds like you're having a miscarriage hun and I am so sorry about that! Continue to use pads as the dr's will need to know just how much blood you have lost and a tampon isn't as informitive....I would go to the hospital just to get checked out! *hugs*
