My hubby will be home for 2 weeks, and my mom will be here for a week also, but I'm still nervous. Especially since she still wants me to rock her to get her down for a nap, but I know I wont be able to even hold her for awhile.

My daughter will only be 16 months and I don't think she would understand why she couldn't "climb" on me like she normally does. It's good you will have some help at first and I guess my advice would just be to keep her as busy and distracted as possible. Maybe try to get some cuddles in with her at nap-time when she is less likely to be active. If you have a boppy pillow you could try putting that on your lap while you rock her so your incision wouldn't be right there for her to accidently bump.

Doctors keep saying conditions have to be perfect, though. =\ I am worried if I have to havea C-section, too. I have a 3 year old that is super high maintenance and clingy and she loves to be held and climb. I had a C section with her and it is tough recovery!
