Ok i just registered at Babys R Us and i seen a topic like this on here before, from what i heard i thought Huggies would be best but now im thinking otherwise.
When i was looking on the website their were alot of bad comments for Huggies, saying they have poor fit and leak a lot. Then i seen Pampers Swaddlers all had good comments and were highly recommended. People have told me Pampers arent good tho so im confused now.
Which diapers worked best for you? Do you think Huggies or Pampers are better? Or which other kind do you think is best?

luvs are pretty good

Pampers Swaddlers are the BEST for newborns!!!
Luv's are better for bigger babies.

you really just have to try them after the baby comes and see what you like   my advise, try them all!! and i like different brands at different sizes as well. it seems like they are all different, and fit her differently as she grows.

I only use huggies and have never had a problem. Pampers are scented and i dont think that is good for senistive skin and pampers also gives Addison a diaper rash. SoI wont use anything but Huggies.
Also huggies newborn have cord care so you dont have to fold down the diaper when they are first born.

i agree. the swaddlers are so well shaped for those little bitty bodies and esp umbilical cord stumps! i used luvs constantly once my daughter got bigger...those were the best to me out of about 15brands that i tried!

I am a faithfull life time pampers mom. I know they can be pricey but, they are the best. Huggies are crap. I have had more nasty poop blowouts and pee leaks on me w/them over Pampers

It really depends on baby. Just as all babies are not created equally, all diapers are not created equally. What works great for one of us, may leak like crazy for you. It's trial and error, and you have to find what works best for you and your baby.

depends on your baby...they all fit different and some babies will leak out of one an not the other. I have had great luck so far with Pampers Swaddlers and White Cloud from WalMart. I like Luvs but not on newborns. I hate Parents Choice fro WalMart, my baby leaked right out of them and they are not really soft or absorbent!

Thats true. I guess ill just put all different types of diapers on my registry.
I already put both Pampers and Huggies anyway. =P

Are wipes the same way? It just depends on your baby? Or are their actually some brands that are bad to use?

i didnt register for diapers, if you get some you dont want u can always return them if they arent opened. and wipes are the same way. we just use parents choice(wmart) because they work just as good as huggies and cost WAY less. it's up to you. some people need sensitive wipes, etc. but i like a good wipe thats strong and had texture, i dont like those sensitive wipes, theyre too flimsy, so i am glad lylan doesnt need them

With wipes, the biggest thing is just to get ones that are alcohol free. Regardless of the type of diapers I use (I also prefer different brands at different sizes), I ALWAYS use Huggies wipes. I just prefer the texture and thickness of them.

Personally, I like Pampers Swaddlers best. I've tried Pampers Swadders, Luvs, Huggies, and a store brand. The Pampers fits her best with NO leaks. I had a BIG leak problem with Huggies.
