I'm curious to know how many of you nurse from one breast at each feeding or if you do both breasts at each feeding.

She's finishes both.

i used to do both.

now i do one at a time.

I always do both. He's still hungry after the first.

When she was going through a growth spurt she would nurse from both, usually it was one at each feeding..

I do both, usually about 15-20 minutes on each side...sometimes longer depending on his hunger level lol

One side at a time. I usually pump the other side while she eats though (I'm trying to build a freezer supply for school).

Rebecca used to do both, but now she only does one..which is usually my left boob. My right gets pumped while she's chowin' down on the other side.

I did one breast til completely empty, then the other if they are still interested, but start with the breast that didn't get emptied.Your baby needs to get all the milk from one breast, the fore milk, middle milk and hind milk, to get the substantial benefits and nutrients.

In the beginning she alternated breasts. Now she is a hungry munchkin and wants both boobies!

I started out offering both each time, buthe had a hindmilk/foremilk imbalance b/c I had too much milk, so I had to start letting him just nurse on 1 side until my supply adjusted. He is almost weaned now & my milk has almost dried up since I am preggo again, so he only nurses on 1 side & not ever on the other side.
