Child Protective Servies (also in free for all)

Well my mom just called me freaking out because of a picture that i had posted up on myspace that my fiance took. I put it up as a joke because we thought it was funny, it's of Noah, laying in his pack and play with a CLOSED bottle of beer next to him. I didn't think anything of it other than it was hilarious. She freaked out, saying that if child protective services see it they will come and take my baby etc etc. because i have 2 dwi's from last year.
I didn't think anything of the picture, and i am going to take it down just in case, i was just wondering... do you think that putting the picture up was so bad??

It's not necessarily something you want to post online. You never know WHO will see it and take it for something it's not.

I don't think so. But, take it down just in case. It isn't worth it if someone doesn't take it as a joke.

I sure wouldnt put a picture of my baby like that on the internet...

I dont think the picture itself is bad, and I dont think CPS could actually take your kid away becuase of the picture, but I dont think its really a good thing to put out there for all to see on the internet. Someone COULD use that for evidence to call CPS with, and it could lead to an investigation. Those are the type of pictures its better just to keep to yourself

i think its a really cute pic and dont see the issue with it..

i have one somewhere of Alana actually holding and trying to drink from an empty wine bottle at about 18 months old.

ETA** i dont normally have empty wine bottles lying around .. it was at the christmas dinner table

I think it's funny and cute but I can see where other people would get the wrong idea at the same time

I dont see anything wrong with it, it is funny. Atleast it is not open. I am sure there is alot of people especially on here that might have a problem with it. It would be safe to take it down though just to make sure. Defacs will take your kids for anything now and get into your life for anything so just be carful, you never know. Even though you dont mean anything by it!

I don't think it's too bad,it's obvious the bottles closed.
Probably best to take it down anyways though.
We have a picture of my sister when she was a baby with an opened beer can (it was empty). My dad still shows anyone who'll look.

Thanks, i was just wanting opionions i personally thought it was just harmless fun and thought it was funny, like i said before though, i already took it down because i'd rather not take my chances.

I do see your point, but i for one didn't take the picture and didn't even know that it had been taken until 3 days after when i looked on my camara. My fiance took the picture. Also, i do not have a drinking problem, i do have previous dwi's from before i got pregnant, but that was more of a stupidity problem than a drinking problem.
