re: wedding band or engagement ring

As said, wedding band first engagement ring second. I had mine welded together so that they stayed put as a set   It just looks funny the other way IMO unless you have two wedding bands (which I know some people do).

My rings are saudered (sp?) together and I have them engagement ring first, wedding band second because it looks funny the other way.

Thanks   It took us awhile to figure out what actually looked best on my hand and that I liked   When we found this one, I knew it was "the one." My hubby had me choose rings from 3 different stores so I wouldn't know which one I was getting. I chose a simple solitaire, this one, and 
He had to make payments, so it took a few months before I actually got my ring. It was like 2 weeks before the wedding! He took the brochure with him from the jewelry store to show my mom & dad when he asked them if he could marry me

Before I even opened the box I knew what it was gonna say. He'd been acting weird all day. I kept thinking "Oh geez, hes gonna propose". When he brought the box in I didnt touch it and pretended to look in a lawn mower magazine (it was the first thing I grabbed, lol) so I wouldnt appear interested. His mom finally asked me to cut a piece. I opened it a smidgen and saw it and yelled "Chris, you butthead!" ...it mightve been "butthole." but I'm pretty sure I said "butthead".   We all ate it, then all of us were stuck in bed the next day with terrible stomach pains and flyin' poops.

ive called the government offices about it already, it was a private transaction, hes an apprentice for some big jeweler down in sydney but i cant get his mom or anyone to tell me the name of the company to save my life... anyways the people i talked to about it said i would need some proof of purchase before any legal action could take place.. and the post office threw out the investigation, didnt even look at it beyond taking it and saying that we'll never find these, then they threw it on the ground and walked off... me and hubbs cant do shit from where were at as far as thats concerened... his dad lost his wedding band too, hubbys mom died about 3 years ago and his dad needed his resized so he figured he'd leave it with this guy in sydney (not just some random either, it was his girlfriends son so he thort he could trust him) and then this shit happens.... you cant put a pricetag on that wedding band..... i wanna fly to sydney and slit the assholes throat, but i cant do that for obvious reasons and it sure as hell wont get our rings back

I was always told wedding band first (the closer to your heart thing) and then engagement ring. The minister told me that I wasn't allowed to wear my engagement ring on my left hand until after the ceremony. So I had to wear it on my right hand until I had the wedding band on.

And I will add pics of my rings... Just cause

beautiful rings!!! Well i wear my wedding band first & then my engagement ring. I wore my engagement ring on my right finger during the ceremony. I thought everyone just knew to wear their wedding & engagement rings like that lol.
