My baby never cries!

She is 2 weeks old and just came home from the NICU night before last. She is SO GOOD! She is on a 4 hr. eating schedule and wakes up and sucks her hands. When she needs changing, she just grunts and squirms like she is uncomfortable until she is changed. When she's awake, she just lays there looking around. Iam telling you, this baby NEVER cries! Iam starting to wonder if it's normal,lol!! Anyone with a baby like her?

yeah Landon was like that but then he got an opinion at about 2 months old!

My nephew who was born at 28 weeks was like that. We really wondered if he could cry. He didnt let out even the slightest fuss until he was 4 months. Just consider yourself lucky!

I've heard a lot of moms on here say that is specific to premature babies! Mine was 4 weeks early and she didnt cry much either at the beginning but she does now (when she wants).

My daughter was like that at first for several days, but then she learned how well she can scream lol

Audrey was like that too. I was in heaven because my son was opposite; I couldn't get him to stop. Now that she is 2 mo, she is a very expressive girl, haha. Enjoy!

HaHa, this is going to good right now! I think Iam really blessed with a good baby. My first one was easy and I always said if I had another one I'd pay back double! So far so good.

Brennan was like that few the three weeks or so of his life. He sure has a set of pipes on him nowadays.

thats wonderful!! my second child was like that all the way up until he was like a year he was a very mellow baby ate slept(lots)and always smiling. its a blessing when they arent colicy or always crying (which was my first born ugh i cried when he cried lol)

When she was in the NICU the nurses would brag about how good she was. I just thought they said that to all NICU mom's.

My MIL said that my SIL never cried as a baby. I can see that being the case too since she's such a laid back, and sweet person now. She's my one SIL that I actually like and get along with, lol.

She ate too fast last night and got a belly ache. All she did was grunt though and turn alittle red. The only time I've really heard her cry hard was on the way back from the hospital. It was time for her to eat and we live 30 mins. from the Hospital. She started grunting and sucking her hands and then a few mins. from the house she cried. Thats the last time I heard her really hard crying!

Haha... just wait. She hasnt discovered the cause and effect yet of crying = mommy's attention. They train us fast. Actually, She probably wont be that bad, but she probably wont stay that quiet. Angelina was the same way for the first couple days. Then it started. She isnt that bad now though, just fusses when she needs to be changed and cries until I get her bottle. Other then that, she doesnt really cry either. A lot of NICU babies tend to be pretty good I think cause they are used to being alone in the isolette and only touched every couple of hours.
