How many months TTC were you....

When your doctor prescribed Clomid?
Im on 5 months TTC this time, and i have a PAP coming up next month. I wanted to bring up Clomid, but im not sure if its too soon?

It probably depends on the dr but my guess is they'll want you to wait until close to a year. Have you been charting? If you have and you can show him that you aren't ovulating or that there is a problem maybe they'll consider it sooner.

I was9 months when I recieved my first batch. My ob said the insurance company likes to wait I believe atleast 6 monthst to a year?!? But that may vary per insurance.

I have been charting and im pretty sure ive ovulated every month but last month.

Have you gone through any bloodwork or ttc issues with your ob yet? If not that was my first step to make sure everything was ok bloodwork wise and then do the clomid with a follow-up every month to prove that I was (which I wasnt) ovulating. And then either up your dose of clomid or stay the same the following month depending on that months ovulation bloodwork results.

We were about 8/9 months into it but it was because I was diagnosed with PCOS.

I think it was between 9-12 months, I cant really remember. We did have to do all the charting and temping and try Metformin for a long time before he brought it up.

I was trying for 11 months when he put me on Clomid, that was after a surgery and 8 months without a period.

i wasn't on any kind of birth control for a few years and never got pregnant. one day, i checked out a few ovulation calenders online and they all told me the same dates to try. the first week they told me to try, we tried every night... next thing i know, i was pregnant.
