Arkansas license plates on CNN

the series of plates have numbers followed by the letters "NGR"

How would you feel if you were issued these plates?
Would you ask for another set?

i personally would just see it as three letters on a plate...

It's just letters. As long as it wasn't something personalized, who cares.

Sometimes I think people look for things to "offend" them. It's just a liscence plate. If I saw it, I wouldn't think anything of it.

I dunno, being in the South, that's the last thing I think I'd want on my car and then being targeted for it. 
Being from the Northwest US, it wouldn't be a big deal to me as I know I'm not racist and racism has reallllllly calmed down up there, totally not a big deal.

I guess like I said, it just depends on where I'd be living....

Racism has really calmed down in the south too,believe me.

I can be a bit dense, so I might not even notice it...but as soon as someone pointed it out to me, I'd probably go back and ask for a different license plate number. Half of my family is black so that is the last thing I would want people to "read" on my license plate....

well, over here you see a LOT of funny ass plates.


we have Bitburg near us and the city code is  BIT and one we saw when we first got here was BIT-CH411 (ot personalized as they don't really do it here)

Well... When i looked at it, I didn't see anything wrong until you said "Would you want another one?" Maybe it's just me, but I didn't really look at it being anything bad until someone pointed it out to me. It's just 3 letters on the license plate for me.

I was just there two years ago. My hubby is from FL (pCola) and I lived there for the year that he was in Korea. No, it hasn't calmed down. It's a whole different world compared to what I came from in Boise , IDAHO no less....

I lived in Alabama for five years. It's really not much different than IL. and FL was never really a state considered the south anyway. It didn't exsist when the shit all stared.

lol I don't see why people care that much. It's looking a little deep into it. It's not like they did it deliberately trying to cause trouble...but who am I to talk. I'm from the state who absolutely refuses to remove the confederate flag from state grounds lol

Pensacola is pretty much lower alabama   I was ALL OVER the south in that year.
