Lightening and Engagement

I was reading about when the baby drops from a few different sources.
What I got from it was that in your first pregnancy, the baby can drop about2 or 3 weeks before you ever go into labor. With your next pregnancy, it usually doesn't happen until right before you go into labor.

I was just wondering how many of you ladies with more than one child would say that is accurate in your experience.

Oh that is cool! Is this your first pregnancy?

Being that this is my first I don't have previous experience, BUT my little one dropped at 32 weeks, and I went into labor this Monday (36 weeks 1 day) but they stopped it with Bethine (sp?) What I've read is it's usually 2 to 4 weeks in your 1st pregnancy. The doctor said he doubts I'll make it to 40 weeks.
