My MIL was sleeping during both of her deliveries. Apperantly that is one form of pain control they used at that time in her country!   I can't imagine choosing that...

I didn't choose that...it was a fluke..because I didn't sleep for 5 days straight..everytime i tried someone would wake me up( i was in the hospital before i delivered)

Yay for Madison! It's amazing what we'll celebrate as NICU moms =) I even celebrated with Ethan got a less experienced nurse (weird, I know) because I knew it meant he didn't need as much attention. When will they start trying3 hour feeds again? I remember how anxious I was towards the end of my kids' nicu stays.I'm sure you're at that point now and I'm sorry. Hopefully things will really start sailing and she'll come home soon!

The only reason I didnt talk to a lawyer was because my daughter has all of her surgeries there.

I didnt want her black listed.

Not until her surgeries are done.

And this was after the other boy was given a positive for MRSA.

I had to push her away [I wedged myself in between her and my daughters bed.]
And told her I wanted another nurse.

ive not been in here for a while, but that is crazy!! i went through exactly the same and our lil man was one pound 14oz! it took us muchhhhh longer to hit 3lbs though. Im glad everything is going well, seems like you will be home real soon
