So we had to battle three infections at once. Thank you NICU.

Then a nurse did NOT wash her hands after handling another baby, and gave my daughter MRSA.

Pre-eclampisa and then it lead to hellps. I think thats how you spell it. They were trying to keep her in as long as possible and so was i. But i had no control over. My blood pressure was over the roof and then my organs started to fail and my platles( the things that make your blood clot) were so low. I had to get a blood transfusiona and had to have a emergy c-section. I was put under. All i remember saying was promise you wont let me die, the lady said we promise we wont. And then i was wheeled into another room. And the guy said your going to go to sleep, I just nooded my head and i was out. I dont even remember anything after that.

My mom said i was writing and everything and people came to visit me. But i dont remember. The next moring. I woke up in icu with a tube down my thoart and just wanting them to remove it, and get me moved to another room so i could see my daughter.

The only reason I didnt talk to a lawyer was because my daughter has all of her surgeries there.

I didnt want her black listed.

Not until her surgeries are done.

And this was after the other boy was given a positive for MRSA.

I had to push her away [I wedged myself in between her and my daughters bed.]
And told her I wanted another nurse.

Oh god. Sometimes i wonder about it. I mean really. Some nurse put another baby's diaper on madisons isslott . they mistaked it for hers. What if they didnt realize that mistake and saw that she was sick or something. Makes me wonder what kind of other mistakes they make.

And that same couples baby doesnt have the middle part of her nose because they let the c-pap detriate it. I mean come on. Now that poor baby has to have surgry done to fix it.

I would sue after she gets all that done. Honestly thats why they have rules. That nurse needs to obey them. Or things like that happen.

It's so scary.
I had nightmares every night about the saftey of my baby.

aww sweetie I'm so sorry...I didn't go through that same thing as you but i don't remember anything either...I had pre e also but with my fabulous motherly instincts we caught it in time...with one of the meds the anestisiologist (sp) gave me for nauesia..it knocked me out and i didn't sleep for 5 days before hand...and I ended up delivering in a "sleepwalker" state..i woke up 4 hours later with someone saying congratulations ...i was going "what the fuck"...

I am sooo glad that the nicu my son was at had excellent nurses...and doctors..I got fucking lucky..

They talked about that with madison . but she tested negtive for all infections and looked better within days. Her tummy did. But im glad it never went that far. That is so scary.

The nurses are lacking.

There was two nurses we just fell in love with, but only got twice a week.

I wasnt scared. I didnt have time to be. It was really werid. I was alone too. My boyfriend was in orlando, My dad had left 30 mins ago and was on his way home and my mom was on her way to work. I called my mom and i was like they are going to make me have c-section any min now. My mom was allowed to come see me before i got wheeled off, She had tears in her eyes, and i almost cried too but didnt. She just told me i love you. And i love you too. Then thats when i asked them not to let me die. After that i just felt really at peace.

But god, I cant even imagine how you delievered a baby in your sleep. Thats amazing and ive never heard of it before. But im glad your baby is doing soo good. and that he is finally home with you now.

the doctor's and nurse's have never seen anything like it either..my husband told me i kicked one of the nurses holding my leg..b/c I wasn't awake I wasn't consciencely in control of my body...I for one am a control freak..I like to know what's going on and what everyone is doing...it makes me feel secure...but man when I found out I delivered without even knowing it...I felt horrible...I cried for weeks.....
