July Mommies... this sucks.

Everyone is having their babies, I knew 3 girls due the same day as me, they have all had their baby. I've been dilated for a month and having contractions and she is still inside.


I'm so depressed. Seriously, its really getting to me. Anyone else going through this?

I am with you hear!! I have seen a lot of women with the same due date as me or after me that have already had their babies!!

I had to go to L&D to get a stress test done because I am overdue, and when I was leaving a man was gettin a little carseat ready and I was talkin to him, his wife was due the same day as me but they had their baby on the 19th and they were on their way home! I was upset...

Physicaly I feel fine, but mentally it is starting to suck... I just want to hold my little boy already! But I am totally closed still... If Iwent in and they told me I was at least 1 cm dilated it would give me some hope!

Iknow, I still have a week until I'mdue but everyone is popping their babies out. I've been having contractions and ALL of the signs of labor and NOTHING. Its relaly weighing on me mentally big time. I just have been crying lately and goign in room getting upset. It's so depressing.EVeryone thought I was goign to go into labor early since I went into preterm labor at 34 weeks,but NOTHING.

I feel the exact same way! Last time I went to the doctor, I was only a fingertip dilated, he asnt dropped, and I havent lost my mucous plug. I have no signs that labor is in the near future! I really don't want to get induced but if I go past my due date, I might just do it.

ugh i feel the same way and idk if i am dialated or not my midwives don't check ughhhh and i'm not even having any signs of labor i just want her out now!

I have had no contractions or signs of labor either...

I am scared of being induced but my Dr will NOT let me go more then 10 days overdue because she said hte risks of being induced are not as high as the risks of going to so far over due

yea i don't want to be induced because i dont want a c-section =/ ugh but w.e time will tell what happens she seems pretty happy where she is right now lol

Im still here due this sunday. MISERABLE.....dialated 2-3 cm 70%effaced for weeks now. contractions ever 5min. so today I went tomy appt today and they said I have disfunctional contractions (not what they are really called cant remember the real name) Anyways what it is is that contractions are supposed to push down mine push up. so they are not opening me up anymore.so they are not doing what they are suppsed to.and If they try touse patocine on me it will only make pains worse for me and same thing no opening more. so they gave me a pill to help me sleep and relax every part of my body. and when my body relaxes my uterus relaxes and make my contractions switch around and do what they are supposed too. So hopefully it works. They told me to stop working and he said he has a VERY GOOD feeling this will work and if he doesnt see me tonight or tomorrow he will def see me this weekend. and if it doesnt work i will get induced next week. Im so upset. I wish my lil guy would come heis being stubburn like his daddylol

Now I am super jealous/upset... I just found out that a girl I use to be friends with in highschool had her baby yesterday... and she wasnt due until August 7th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I'm due the 31st and not progressing at all-been a fingertip dilated for 3 weeks now and my little boy still hasnt come close to dropping. One of my doctors said 2 weeks ago they think hes toobig, but wouldnt do anything to check until the week after my due date-y would you wait another month for him to continue growing if you already think hes too big to drop down?? The doc I saw yesterday ordered an ultrasound for tomorrow to check size and I'm to find him right away and tell him what they found afterwards. He told me we are probably looking at a c-section since my cervix is so unfavorable at this point and im starting to suddenly have high blood pressure. I'm kinda bummed cuz I had hoped on having a totally natural birth, but at the same time I'm grateful something is finally being done. Hes so big and sitting so high right now that I cn't breathe, I cant eat more than a few bites of food at a sitting and I cant sleep cuz I cant get comfortable anymore-blah.

I'm dilated and he's dropped a bit, but I've been having contractions since Saturday; they're just not strong enough or close enough together. I feel like crying too because I just want to hold him so bad. I keep telling myself that he's waiting to come out on the 29th because it's my grandfathers birthday. I know it's silly, but it keeps me sane.

Ladies, I feel your pain!! My original due date was today. Now I am scheduled for the pitocin drip on the 6th of August. ( redrum, redrum!!!) I thought for certain that given the fact that I am 40 and I have 2 or 3 hour labors I would be holding my daughter by now. I guess that doctor knows best but he doesn't have to live in my house with me!! I guess that the novelty of pregnancy has run it's course, and the fact that I have 3 shirts and 2 pair of pants that still fit have made me wish for labor. I just want to bend over and tie my shoes. I want to sleep for more tahn 2 hours a night. I want to be able to reach my back side without falling off the toilet!! I love being pregnant, but enough is enough already!! (LOL)

Hang in there girls! I am a July mom who already had her baby, but I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK and lots and lots of labor dust to you all! I thought I was miserable at 37 weeks preggo...I commend all you girls who have made it all the way to the bitter end. Hopefully you all have easy and quick labors, and your babies decide to come on time and not overdue! Good luck to everyone. Lotsa love to you all.  

So I have a date set to be induced... The 30th... I really dont want to be induced though so I am going to be trying every little old wives tale this weekend!
