playroom?

so my fiancee & i are going to be moving into a new house soon. it has 5 bedrooms & a basement. (& of course all the usual rooms.) my fiancee is going to put a little bar thing in the basement & a pool table..all that jazz. well, i also want a play room for my daughter who is 2. should i take half of the basement for that or should i use one of the bedrooms?
1 bedroom for Matt & i. 1 for Sophia. 1 for the new baby. & a guest room. that leaves 1 more. so...help?

Absolutely put it in one of the bedrooms. It'll be easier for you so you won't have to go downstairs to play. Basements are sometimes damp and icky. It'd be better in a room

I agree lol. That way your hubby can have his friends over without having all your daughter's toys she wants to play with in the same room. I am sure he will love having his own space too.

I'm so jealous of the space you'll have- good for you! I'd say bedroom. We have three and they're all occupied so I set up part of the basement for the boys to play. It's butt ass cold in the winter and dark in the summer. Plus I don't much enjoy being down there to supervise for a great length of time since it's not totally useable.
