Hellllppppp!!

Loserface & I drove from oklahoma to laguna beach, there were tons of stretches with no bathrooms & now I have a UTI, I don't know of any hospitals around here, is there anything OTC I can take? I'm miserable.   It hurts so bad.

I never get really bad ones. But I just drink a TON of pure cranberry juice, and water, and mine always kinda work themselves out, but that is just me. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Straight cranberry juice will help until you can get antibiotics.

just becareful letting it go to long, im sure it doesnt happen with everyone, but my husband knew someone who let hers go to long it go into her blood and cause mental retardation in her baby, just wanted to you to be careful, not trying to scare you!

ugh! sweetie, I am so sorry! The only thing I know of that can help is pure cranberry juice. But if you are hurting that bad, you probably need to get into a doctor. Is there an after hours clinic nearby? I had the same thing happen to me when we drove to visit my parents in AZ. I finally gave up and ended up in the ER because I couldn't take how bad it hurt. They said it was a good thing I did because the infection was pretty bad because I had waited so long. They gave me some meds to help the pain (which were awesome!!!) and it took 2 courses of antibiotics to take care of it.

Jenn there is something called AZO or something like that that is OTC for UTI's. I have seen it at Walgreens.

Cranberry juice, cranberries, and a ton of water. But you should probably be seen to be safe so it doesn't spread to your kidneys, they stink!

I got my first and only UTI when I first got preggo and ughhh I hated it! Im sorry.
Talk to the pharmacist there are different things OT you can get. There are these cranberry pill things

There is a OTC med. You should see a doc though I used to get really bad UTI's and my ob said it could cause preterm labor so be careful!

weird, random FYI: i was told before i had to use it that if you're a messing pee-er than you'd better be extra careful because the AZO will dye your pee a certain vibrant color (can't remember if it was organge or what) and if you get it on your clothes in any way, it'll stain it.

weird, i know. lol. i didn't have any problems but then again, i pee in the toilet, not on my clothes. lol.
