No it's not.

Umm, head down just means that they're in the head down position, maybe ready to drop. When they drop they kind of engage in your pelvis and get right into your hips preparing for labour. I think... I hope that helps

Nope. Babies can turn heads down well before they drop. Heads down just means that there is head is down, so that its easier during birth. Dropping means she/he is starting to go through the birth canal. Doctors usually refer to stations with dropping (-1,0,1,2)

Sometims you can tell when the baby has dropped just by looking at you. Hold on...I have a good picture to show it..

That's probably what it is. When they're head down they can still be up high. When they drop you'll definitely feel more pressure in your pelvis.

Dropping just means they are locked and loaded ready to shoot out your vajayjay some time soon! head down just means they are head down into the cervix getting ready for the day they drop!
