Bleeding during pregnancy

posted 22nd Jul
I had a miscarriage in January that was pretty bad..After giving my body time to heal my husband and I began trying again..On Fathers Day I found out I was pregnant again..When I was about 5 weeks I started spotting and then it went away..That was on 6/20..Shortly after I found out the baby is fine and has a heartbeat..The day before my 9th week 7/20 I started bleeding again..It lasted an hour and was pretty heavy then stopped completely..I went to the hospital they said the baby looked fine and still has a strong heartbeat...Well I don't understand what is going on..Some people say they think it's my period because around the 20th is when I would get it..and when I was bleeding/spotting it was on 6/20 then exactly a month later 7/20..I went through the miscarriage and the bleeding was not heavy like that nor did I have cramping..I just don't understand the first time I was spotting on 6/20 it waslight for a few days then nothing the second time on 7/20 I bled for an hour pretty heavy (enough to saturate an entire pad) then it stopped completely..I just wanted to know if anyone else ever went through this? and do you think it's something else since the baby seems to be fine, has a strong heartbeat, (162 beats per minute) and my cervix is closed..I keep praying everythin will be ok..This is my miracle baby but I am kind of worried..

my aunt(dad's sis)had a full period till she was 8 months... i was told that it is fine... my other aunt(mom's sis) had one till she was 6 months after her miscarriage.

As long as the baby is fine and has a strong heartbeat.. don't worry to much..i have faith that everything will be alright

I agree. Try not to worry too much. The most important thing is that the babys heart is beating. That means (s)he is doing fine. Bleeding appaers to happen a lot during pregnancy and doesn't always mean that you will have a miscarriage. An aunt of mine got her period every month until she was 5 months pregnant with my cousin and she came out fine and healthy. I know it's hard, esp. when you already been through miscarriage before but try to stay relax. IF a miscarriage will happen, worrying about it in advance wont make it go away but I am sure you'll be fine!
